Which adjustable base?

We have had our Leggett & Platt Prodigy 2.0 set up and using for I guess a couple of weeks now. I guess I would say I can highly recommend it with a caveat or two. It is smooth, quiet, and It generally just has the feel of high quality equipment that is going to last though time will be the judge on that of course. We have the split king model by the way.

I would like to point out that Ken from Arizona premium Mattress Company has been right on with his observations in my opinion. Look at his previous posts in this thread if you haven't already. I have the same feelings about the remote as Ken pointed out. It is the smooth surface like our iPhones and I suppose the latest technology but does leave us somewhat underwhelmed. A lot of times when we press on the remote nothing happens. I guess the finger maybe needs to be placed just right as Ken mentioned. We are still learning and hopefully it becomes better. The old style raised buttons would be much better for this application I think.

Another thing about the remote is that if you pick it up in the dark you pretty much end up activating something to get the remote lit up to see what you actually want to do. One more gripe about the remote then I will stop I promise. To have all the remote functions available you have to download the L&P app to your smartphone and use your phone. What is that all about?? We do both have iPhones but I don't know if we are going to mess with that or not.

The massage functions manage to vibrate the bed but that is about all I can say about that. I don't see it as a feature we will use much probably. With all of that said we are basically happy with the Prodigy 2.0 split king that we have. I am expecting it to give us many years of good service. It's just that in this case maybe the older technology (remotes) might be a better application. Then again maybe after we are used to them more we will like them more.

Though we are basically happy with the Prodigy 2.0 if we were starting all over we would likely save a little money and get the S Cape 2.0. As Ken mentioned it is primarily a matter of whether you want the pillow tilt function or not.

I have the prodigy 2.0. The remote takes a little getting used to but I know generally where the buttons I need are in the dark just by holding the remote. Tapping a button lightly will also illuminate it.

You don’t need the app to use the remote. What is is in the app you think makes the remote work? I’m curious if I am missing something

L&P had me download the ultra series app and it works like a charm

No I didn't mean that you have to have the app to use the remote. That is not the case at all. There are additional functions available by using the app that is available on a smartphone. My point was why not just include all the functions in the remote control rather than make me download an app to my phone? Maybe I will try the app one of these days but I just don't understand why I should have to do that to have all the functions available.

I hope I wasn't too hard on the prodigy 2.0 in my review. As I indicated we are basically happy with it but are still getting used to the remote controls. Maybe in time we will get to like the remotes (I am hoping anyway).

Oh I see what you are saying now that I examined the app more carefully.
I have had issues with figuring out how to get in one touch mode for the snore function which I don’t even use, I don’t use massage either and really the wall hugger feature doesn’t exist for me lol Maybe better for someone taller ?

We are having trouble with remote pairing on our Reverie R450HT split king adjustable bases, so I would encourage others to heed the warnings earlier in this thread about the blue tooth remotes having pairing issues. Frequently we get "Other remote connected" messages. When both remotes had that message we tried re-pairing the remotes, all to no avail. Now they cannot find a bed with "No bed found" errors when pairing, and then the notice "No bed paired".

I would actually prefer a wired remote that didn't need to be recharged. Wireless remotes don't make any sense when you will always be in the bed when you use them. It's not like you're in the living room and thinking "Hey, I should raise the head of the bed another 14 degrees."

I have a call into Reverie and asked Flexus Comfort mattress (great guys) where we purchased the mattress and frame here on MU.

We had the same problem with their top of the line model. Interference from other blue tooth devices were always resetting the pairing. They sent me new control modules and they seem to be working much better. My advice for anyone buying Reverie is to STAY AWAY from the blue tooth models and stick to wired or wi-fi models. Their customer service will be able to help you get them fixed.

That's reassuring, thanks! I'm hoping they can resolve it. It doesn't look like replacing the control modules would be too much trouble. We're having trouble playing phone tag a bit, but I also sent them an email so they can respond to that.

I'll try removing or turning off all other blue tooth devices too ... phones, tablets, Fire TV stick, etc. ... and see if I can get them to pair again.

I sometimes have to hit the pair button twice to get it to work. There is a process to setting it back to default which they can walk you through.
