Brooklyn Bedding: Smooth fit or smooth scape (New low cost Memory Foam) 31 Aug 2013 13:26 #1

Does anyone have or know of someone that has bought either the Smooth Fit or Scape?
Brooklyn Bedding just added these two low cost Memory foam beds. I am interested for my son and the guest room.

I feel confident the quality is average or above but hope someone has some knowledge about these two low cost mattress choices.
Thanks in advance,
Jeff

Coincidentally, my fiancee and I were about to drop the cash on a new latex mattress from Ikea after doing some reading, but ended up not being able to (thanks, fraud prevention!). Because of that, I jumped on to naturally second guess myself. I'd seen some Ultimate Dreams Dreamfoam beds on Amazon, then, thanks to Phoenix, connected the dots that Brooklyn Bedding actually makes those too. Go figure.

I say all of this to say that I'm actually now pretty sold on what they make, based on everything I've read here and on Amazon, and am eyeballing a similar mattress. So I suppose it's a race to see who is satisfied first, hopefully. Good luck!

Thanks brianhorne8, I have no doubt of Brooklyn Bedding's quality (With there normal product) as I have been sleeping on their Latex Aloe Alexis for 5-6 weeks now - love it. The two new beds in question are a lower price, half the warranty and memory foam for a comfort layer.
My thought was this: My 14 year old son has no interest in a mattress so why spend $1300-1400? However he does need something better than he has even if he doesn't know or care. $400 sounds like something to try but I did want some feedback if anyone has any.
I may buy it and be the feedback...I'll decide soon.

Hi jefmoody,

Like you I also think that any of their mattresses would be good quality/value in their budget range but I don't know any details about the densities of the foam in their mattress so if you talk with them that would be one of the questions I would ask (although at that price even CertiPur certified 3 lb memory foam for a guest room or a lighter youth would be good value).

Their basic innerspring mattress here on their Amazon site is also a good option for a guest room or for kids and there is also a low cost 4 lb gel memory foam mattress here (and they also carry an 8" and 10" memory foam mattress on Amazon as well at the same prices).
