Brooklyn Bedding - #Bestmattressever - What comfort level should I go with? 21 May 2015 21:51 #1

First off: Thank you for putting this site together...it's been very informative. My wife and I are getting a new bed and narrowed it down to the big 3 in Casper, Brooklyn Bedding and Tuft and Needle. We both like the fact Brooklyn Beddings #bestmattressever has 3 firmness options. Only having 1 option just seems like to big of a leap for us as.she likes a soft bed...and from what I have read the Tuft and Needle and Casper bed appear to be pretty firm. Here is my question:....If we go with the Brooklyn Bedding bed and eliminate the firm mattress option, which of the other 2 options does anyone have any history with? I don't want a bed that is going to be too soft....so we are leaning towards the medium option but at the same time I don't want a bed that is towards the firmer part of medium. Does that make sense? Has anyone tried one of their options? Is the soft to soft or the medium to firm? Any feedback about either one of these two comfort options would be really helpful. Thanks for your help.

Hi Mandrake,

While you are probably the best judge about whether you tend to prefer soft, medium, or firm mattresses based on mattress testing you have done ... at this point the Brooklyn Bedding mattress is very new so there hasn't been any feedback about it on the forum yet (although there soon will be).

When you can't try a mattress in person though and if you feel you need some guidance then the most reliable source of guidance is always a more detailed conversation with a knowledgeable and experienced retailer or manufacturer that has your best interests at heart who can help "talk you through" the options they have available that may be the best "match" for you based on the information you provide them, any local testing you have done or mattresses you have slept on and liked or that you are considering that they are familiar with, and the "averages" of other customers that are similar to you. They will know more about helping to "match" their firmness levels to different body types, sleeping positions, and preferences than anyone else.
