What does it mean when a poly foam is described as bouyant? Does that mean bouncy? or that it recovers from impressions?

Hi SleepDeprived,

It's just a word that is more about marketing than anything else. They could be using it to imply that it feels like you are "floating" on the mattress and it would probably apply to resilient materials more than slow recovery materials but just like beauty ... words like these are all in the eye of the beholder and are just subjective descriptions that you may or may not agree with based on your own personal experience.
