CHARLES P. ROGERS ST. REGIS MATTRESS 31 Mar 2016 21:54 #1

My aunt needed a second mattress and decided on the St. Regis hybrid memory foam sold by Charles P. Rogers. When she was not feeling well I went to stay with her for a month. I was given the St. Regis mattress to sleep on and as I sat on it I felt it was just too firm. I have a memory foam medium mattress and this was just so different. When I went to bed, as I laid on the mattress I remember thinking "well no aha moment". The next thing I remember is waking up that morning and not having my usual arthritic pain or having to take it easy for 30 or more minutes for my body to get into the swing. I put it off to being one of my good arthritis days. At the end of my stay I was truly in shock at how quickly I would fall asleep and not wake up during the night with hip pain. I tend to sleep near the edge and always felt safe that the edge was sturdy. I had slept on another hybrid at a friend's and found it terrible so I do not know what makes the St. Regis different. I have sent in some questions to the people at Charles P. Rogers about this mattress. I need a new mattress for our guest room, but I am truly thinking about putting my memory foam bed there and buying myself the St. Regis. Being able to use the mattress new for 30 days was very important. Just trying it for a few minutes or even an hour I don't think I would have considered this mattress. As I stated it just felt too firm, but those 30 days made the difference. I am waiting to hear the answers to my questions before I decide for sure, but I am 90% in the yes for this mattress. Never would I believe this hybrid would be for me.

Hi cinn

Thanks for taking the time to share your comments and feedback ... I appreciate it.

It certainly sounds like the St Regis is a good match for you in terms of comfort, firmness, and PPP so if you are considering it for a purchase all you would really need to know is the information in this article so you can make sure that there are no lower quality materials or weak links that would compromise the durability and useful life of the mattress.
