Brentwood Hybrid Latex Mattress 17 Sep 2020 14:04 #1

Has anyone tried the Brentwood Home Hybrid Latex Mattress ? And has anyone who's tried it also tried either the Nest Bedding Natural Hybrid Latex in medium and/or plush, or the Sleep on Latex in either soft and/or medium? I haven't tried the Brentwood Hybrid Latex Mattress but have tried the other two in both firmnesses, and in each case the soft causes lower back pain and the medium causes arm/shoulder pain. So I'm thinking a zoned mattress might be the way to go, and the Brentwood Hybrid Latex Mattress has it's zoned approach via the latex layers, while another option could be the mattresses that use the L&P combizone springs. Looking for any personal experiences with the Brentwood and/or L&P combizone or this dilemma in general. Thanks!

Hi- I don't have personal experience with their new hybrid, nor the Nest Alexander hybrid. I do tend to prefer hybrids, though, versus the feel of full latex or foam.

Understand that the sale ends Monday, but, Brentwood has a very customer friendly trial period (a full year) and easy return process per the info on their web site. Their trial period and return process helped me feel a bit more comfortable about ordering without trying out a mattres in a store. However, I already know from experience in the past that hybrids are my preferred type of mattress.

A note: You might check to see if they have any special offers or different discounts for Veterans, teachers, and first responders/medical staff, if any of those apply to you. I have found that their customer service reps respond to inquiries very quickly and provide specs/answer questions until one has the info that is needed. And, after I inquired via chat about other discounts, they shared info that matched me up to a different offer/discount.

I did inquire about their new latex hybrid, but, ordered the Oceano with a memory foam instead for they shared that the Oceano is often perceived as medium plush, whereas, the new hybrid as medium. Of course, how a mattress feels to each of us will greatly based on the info shared on this forum.

I am looking for a bit more plush of a mattress, thus, went with the Oceano over the new latex hybrid. I like the feel of both latex and memory foam (in hybrids), thus, I was open to either one.

When considering latex hybrids, I also considered Sleep EZ's hybrid. Roger was quick to respond to my inquiries and very helpful. In the end, I decided to try a hybrid that also has microcoils (the Oceano). And, again, I am okay with either latex or memory foam in a hybrid. However, if the Oceano does not work out, the Sleep EZ hybrid would be one I would like to try/high on my list, if not for me, for another family member. It is also flippable. Believe one side is medium plush, and the other medium firm. It is also 14 inches thick. Believe it has a 3" latex topper on one side, and 2" on the other.

Sorry that I don't have actual experience to share.

Best of luck to you on your info search.

The Brentwood Oceano has been on and off our shortlist during our search. Most recently, we have considered a softer (talalay) latex hybrid such as the Sleep EZ, Just curious if any of you have any updates that might aid in our search.
