Ultimate Hybrid Modification - Wanting something softer on shoulders. 22 Aug 2018 15:37 #1

Hello Ken,

I am a 190 lb side sleeper, and my partner is a 120 lb side sleeper. Waking up with shoulder pain has been a long time issue for both of us.

I recently bought the ultimate hybrid, with Legett and Platt Coils and with a SOFT all natural Talalay layer, but I bought a slightly larger case to be able to put in an additional layer if needed, due to this history of waking up with uncomfortable shoulders.

We've decided we'd like to put in an extra layer, but we're not sure what to do or what to put, and I wanted to ask for your recommendation.

I had two possible ideas, and I wanted to know what you thought of either of them, or if you'd recommend something different entirely:
1) Putting a 3" medium Talalay layer under the soft Talalay layer.
2) Putting another 1-3" of Soft Talalay on top of the soft Talalay.

Thank you for your help!

If you need a little more cush then medium under soft. If you need a lot more then soft on soft would be the way to go.
