Committed to excellence
Whether online or in our 10 showrooms I am committed to offering all consumers wishing to learn and educate themselves the knowledge and the level of expertise that comes with our many years of working with a diverse range of mattresses from innersprings to springless, and different type of materials. My company and I gained a wonderful reputation in the Greater Portland area for the level of service, information and quality we bring in everything we do.
We entered the bedding industry in 1989, before the explosion of “mattress re-sellers.” The early years were spent making mattresses for the Class 8 Truck and RV industries, as well as various contract applications and a minor focus on residential bedding. In the mid-'90s, decades before someone coined the phrase “Bed in a Box,” we started rolling innerspring and foam mattresses. Over the years we developed an extensive line-up of contract and residential products, which we sold to other retailers. Then, in 2008, we decided to sell our mattresses directly to the consumer instead of other retailers. Our first showroom was in our factory; however, as you can imagine, it was very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, and we were never able to achieve the perfect temperature or atmosphere for mattress shopping. Fortunately, we secured a wonderful retail location in Lake Oswego, which is one of our busiest showrooms to this day. As our popularity grew, so did our showrooms: we now have 10 retail locations from Vancouver, Washington, to Salem, Oregon.
Our expertize comes with constantly developing new mattresses for our retail line, which is in a league of its own because as the manufacturer, we understand components and when and why they should be used together. We utilize Offset Springs, Marshall Coil Springs, Latex, and Memory Foam in our mattresses, and as “all components work together” our designs are well complemented by accessories we carefully selected such as natural bedding, motion bases, emBrace® and enGauge® bedframes all of which fine-tune and add the final touches on our designs and products.
Why does Parklane Mattresses always send two trucks on every delivery?
At Parklane Mattresses, we like to be clean. That is why we have several delivery trucks that only transport used products. Your new Parklane mattress and foundation will never be in the same truck as used ones. We guarantee that our new mattresses and foundations are free of dust mites, bed bugs, and all other possible contaminants.
